Chapter 5

Saint Dane tried to get inside of Bobby's head. It worked, but only for a second. Then Bobby tried to fight fire with fire. He used it back on him. Saint Dane just lost it. He went crazy, out of his mind! He started to just swing at Bobby. Bobby got the beating of his life. He got saved though. A Prince named Pelle a Zinj came and stopped the fight. But before they could arrest Saint Dane, he took off. This chapter was intersting. Especially because Bobby's plan of reverse psychology, I think its called, actually worked. But I think that this chapter took coolness to another level.

Chapter 4

It turns out that the Rokador were friendly. Especially because they were good friends of Loor's. One was named Teek and the other was named Bokka. Bokka and Loor liked each other but because of the whole tribal conspiracy they werent supposed to be with each other. So they argued a little bit and then the Rokador left. So did Loor and Bobby. Then while they were walking back one of Loor's tribe members called Bobby a Rokador because he was white. So they fought. And then Bobby realized that the person he was fighting was Saint Dane, a traveler that is and arch enemy of Bobby's. This chapter just made everything more interesting. It made me think that anything can happen in this story and that it will change as the story
goes.

Chapter 3

In this chapter, Saangi heals up Loor's wound. Then she takes Pendragon out for a ride. They rode all the way to a place that looked like a desert. They stopped and Pendragon got off and thought he saw snakes. Instead two Rokador popped out of the ground and Bobby got scared.He thought there was going to be a big fight. But he was wrong. This chapter made me think how messed up this planet is. That they were having war over conspiracy matters is stupid. But, Im not them so who knows? It could be for a good reason.

Chapter 2

Chapter 2: This chapter is a continuation of the letter Bobby was writing in Chapter 1. As the warriors got ready to battle, another fanfare sounds and a Zhou beast bursts through the door. A Zhou beast is like a giant panther-like cat. But this one is taller than a human by 2-3 ft. when it stands up straight on it's two hind legs.It has two heads and razorlike teeth. It had wounds and Bobby thought it was because people were trying to get this thing PO'd. Well it was. Loor's team was the first to attack. One of her teammates lassoed one of the beast's heads and started to pull. But, with the beast at a disadvantage, the other team attacked it. One of them jumped on the beast and landed on it's back. All of a sudden the beast did something...well... disgusting. It turned its free head around in a way that seemed impossible and seized the warrior by the legs. The beast was wagging his head back and forth, also taking the warrior along for the ride. As you should have realized by now, the announcer wasn't talking about the two teams severing each other's heads .They were supposed to severe and capture both of the "beast's" heads. So with one warrior on the other side down, Loor decides to show sportsmanship and leads the beast away so that the other team can save their teammate. But they didn't. I thought that was strange. But oh well. So then, the Zhou beast did something cool. It jumped into the air and got some serious vertical. Then, it yanked its head back and pulled Loor's teammate, holding the rope, off his feet. Unlucky for him his hand was tangled in the rope. Loor decided she needed to jump in and help. So she swung at the beast, connecting to its side. It got mad and swiped at her knocking her sword away. Loor was in trouble. The beast swung again and this time it hit her shoulder. She then rolled away and ran. Ran towards the injured warrior lying on the ground. She took his sword and swung at it. But it dodged. Then her teammate lassoed it again. But, out of nowhere, a warrior from the other team came at her and tackled her to the ground. He took the sword away and ran back to his teammates. I think he thought that it belonged to his team so he took it back. Then the Zhou turned and looked at Loor. He started to snarl. I guess he was PO'd because she hit him. Then he lunged. She dodged and ran. She ran and climbed the statue in the middle of the arena that was sculpted to look like a Zhou. Then she got cornered. But out of nowhere her assistant Saangi came and picked up Loor's sword that she lost and threw it to her. Loor caught it and swung at the Zhou's head. Then the Zhou got real mad and roared. She called to her teammates to throw her another rope. She then lassoed the other head and jumped off the statue. She handed the rope to her other teammate and moved in for the kill. But she was too late. The other team took an advantage of the situation cut off the two heads and won the match. This was very disappointing especially because of the fact that Loor did most of the work. This chapter made me feel more excited because I knew that this book was gonna be wonderful and action-packed.

Chapter 1

Chapter 1 is the beginning of a letter from Bobby Pendragon (main character) to his two best friends on earth, Mark and Courtney. Bobby Pendragon is a traveler from earth. A traveler is someone who has the power to visit other planets in different dimensions at different times in history. In this chapter Bobby is writing from a planet called Zadaa. He and his friend Loor (the traveler from Zadaa) are riding towards a battle that was to be had in the city of Xhaxhu. The planet and its diffeent tribes are each at war over each other over water. Water is becoming scarce on Zadaa so war has broken out. Loor made Bobby wear a dark cloak because he was an outsider and she was afraid of what the tribes might think of him. Bobby climbed up a pyramid to get a better view of the arena. People were screaming and cheering. Loor and two other people walked out on the field as warriors and another trio of warriors walked out onto the field as well. These were supposed to be the opponents. The announcer then said that in order to win the battle you must severe two heads and claim both to win. Then all of a sudden a trumpet fanfare sounded. The battle was about to begin. This chapter made me feel excited. It made me excited because I new something cool and awesome would happen next so all I had to do was read the next chapter.
